The International Research Centre on Artificial Intelligence (IRCAI) operates under UNESCO and was established on March 29, 2021. Located at the Jožef Stefan Institute in Ljubljana, Slovenia, IRCAI serves as a coordination point and funding route for AI initiatives aimed at achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
