The Developing Countries Vaccine Manufacturers Network (DCVMN) is a public health alliance founded in 2000/2001 and based in Switzerland. Its mission is to protect people worldwide from infectious diseases by ensuring a steady supply of high-quality vaccines at affordable prices, particularly for developing countries. The network includes vaccine manufacturers from various low and middle-income countries, including Brazil, China, India, and South Africa. DCVMN focuses on enhancing the production and distribution of vaccines. It supports its members in improving manufacturing capabilities and adopting new technologies to meet international standards, such as WHO prequalification. Members produce a diverse range of vaccines, including those for rotavirus, hepatitis, meningitis, and COVID-19, contributing significantly to global public health efforts. In 2018, DCVMN members supplied over half of the vaccines used globally by UNICEF, highlighting their impact on vaccine accessibility.
