Drawing from his Mexican-American heritage and street culture, his work is known for its bold silhouettes and powerful messaging. Through provocative runway presentations, Willy has gained recognition from top retailers such as Barneys, Dover Street Market, Bergdorf Goodman, Saks Fifth Avenue, and SSENSE. With continued expansion, the brand is increasing its global presence. In January 2025, WILLY CHAVARRIA made his Paris Fashion Week debut, presenting his AW25 collection to critical acclaim. This milestone solidified his place among the industry's leading voices, reinforcing his ability to merge luxury craftsmanship with cultural and political narratives. Willy's accolades include being a finalist for the International Woolmark Prize (2018), a CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund winner (2021), and the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian National Design Award recipient (2022). He was named CFDA Menswear Designer of the Year in both 2023 and 2024.
