Chongqing Changan Industry (Group) Co., Ltd. is a subsidiary of China Ordnance Equipment Group Corporation. It is a large state-owned military-civilian combined enterprise and a key national key military enterprise. The predecessor of Chang'an Industry can be traced back to the Shanghai Marine Artillery Bureau founded by Qing Dynasty Minister of Foreign Affairs Li Hongzhang in 1862. It has more than 150 years of history and is one of the oldest industrial enterprises in China. In 2009, it moved from Jiangbei District of Chongqing City to Airport Industrial Park in Yubei District, forming a modern enterprise covering an area of 2,400 acres, and also has a specialized test base covering an area of 20,000 acres in Sichuan. At present, Chang'an Industrial Corporation has developed into an enterprise group focusing on special product development and focusing on intelligent manufacturing, engineering construction, and automotive related industries.
