Founded in 1928 as Taihoku Imperial University, our university has gone through a series of transformations to "National Taiwan University" named in 1945. At present, NTU consists of 16 Colleges, 58 Bachelor's Degree Programs and 146 Graduate Institutes, entailing a broad spectrum of interdisciplinary studies including science, arts, humanities and other subjects. There are 35,000+ students and 6,000+ international students from 77 countries at our university. By 2028, NTU will celebrate its 100th anniversary as the first and oldest higher education organization in Taiwan. 國立臺灣大學自1928年創校以來，至今已邁向第94年。迄111學年度，本校已發展成為具有16個學院(含國際學院、創新設計學院、重點科技研究學院、共同教育中心、進修推廣學院)、3個專業學院(牙醫、獸醫、藥學)，58個學士班（含56個學系與2個學士學位學程）、146個研究所（含51個系所合一、57個獨立所、34個學位學程、4個院設班別），學生人數約35,043人（學士生17,117人、碩博士生17,926人）。展望未來，無論世界如何變動，臺大都會堅持改革，奮發精進持續創新，善盡大學社會責任，為臺灣的發展和進步貢獻力量。
