MPR News is the news and information service of Minnesota Public Radio, established in 1973. It is the second largest news organization in Minnesota, known for its fact-based and trustworthy reporting. MPR News operates from its St. Paul headquarters and six regional bureaus, focusing on civic engagement, cultural diversity, and community dialogue. The organization broadcasts on 24 full-power stations, with its flagship station being KNOW-FM (91.1 FM) in the Twin Cities.
