Our range of undergraduate programmes equips students for careers in more than 130 broad fields. Programmes are internationally recognised and accredited by the relevant professional bodies. Nelson Mandela University was previously known as Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University from 2005 to July 2017. Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University was a result of a merger between three former institutions being the University of Port Elizabeth, the Port Elizabeth Technikon and the PE Campus of Vista University.
