Université de Paris based on the strength of its pioneer's campuses, Paris Descartes, Paris Diderot, and the IPGP, helps develop and convey knowledge serving women, men and society. Sciences are significant in Université de Paris, such as health sciences, human and social sciences; it displays an omni-disciplinary institution. Labelled IdEx since March 2018, Université de Paris gathers 58 000 students, 7 500 staff, 142 laboratories, the IPGP as a component establishment and three main faculties: a faculty of Health, a faculty of Sciences, a faculty of Society and Humanity.
