Closed Joint-Stock Company TransTeleCom (Company TTK) is one of the TOP-5 Russian telecommunications companies. The company was founded in 1997. Its main shareholder is Russian Railways. TTK operates and services one of the largest fiber networks in Russia, which is more than 76 000 km long and has the bandwidth capability up to 1.6 Tbps. The network is laid along the country's railways, has more than 1600 access nodes in all regions of Russia and connects Europe and Asia. The Company has its own communication sites in the largest world centers of telecommunication traffic concentration in London, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Stockholm and Hong-Kong. TTK provides all railway-related telecommunication resources required by the Russian Railways. In addition TTK implements large-scale telecommunication projects and introduce a full range of telecommunication services for other state companies, large commercial corporations and end-users all over the country. TTK is an active player on the global market. The transcontinental TTK backbone, EurasiaHighway, has connections to the communication networks of almost all the neighboring countries, including China, Japan, Mongolia, North Korea, Finland, the Baltic states and the CIS, and it is the optimal route between Europe and Asia.
