„CAR – Center Automotive Research“ is a private research institute promoting conversations, knowledge and innovation for future mobility . Within the D+S Automotive GmbH, the institute is led by Jan Wortberg, Beatrix C. Keim & Dirk Wollschläger. CAR is an international communication and research platform on mobility, innovation, digital transformation, and societies in motion. We organise renown conferences and prepare studies and analyses for the automotive industry. The current event formats are: • CAR Symposium: An internationally renowned automotive congress with over 1,000 participants and a multitude of partner companies. The keynotes by CEO of impactful enterprises are reported by key media. The opportunities for networking amongst the industry participants and the connection to science make this CAR Symposium unique. • CAR Battery Day: A congress focused on the value chain of electro vehicles. From materials research, cell chemistry and cell production down to recycling and infrastructure technology. Within a few years since the 1st congress it grew to a must-be event with over 500 participants and almost 60 partners. • CAR IT Symposium: This symposium quickly established itself as a unique format for the increasingly important IT landscape in the automotive sector for the software defined vehicle and all related applications. • New Mobility World: A congress focused on all aspects of automotive sales & marketing that reflects the change in competitive landscape as well as customer journey.
