The Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Tocantins (IFTO) is a federal public educational institution in Brazil, established in 2008. Headquartered in Palmas, Tocantins, it operates eight main campuses, three advanced campuses, and 16 distance education hubs. IFTO was formed from the merger of the Palmas Technical School and the Araguatins Federal Agricultural School, focusing on aligning education with regional economic needs.
