Developing the Muslim community in Singapore. Majlis Ugama Islam Singapura (Muis) is also known as the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore. We were formed as a statutory body in 1968 when the Administration of Muslim Law Act (AMLA) came into effect. Under AMLA, we advise the President of Singapore on all matters relating to Islam in Singapore, and serve the religious interest of the Singapore Muslim Community. Here in Muis, we are committed to see that the many and varied interests of Singapore’s Muslim community are looked after. We are always looking for high-performing and driven individuals who want to serve the local Muslim community with passion and commitment. Our staff are empowered from day one to take ownership of their career journey with full support from us and learn what they need to enrich their career.
