Partners in Food Solutions (PFS) is a nonprofit consortium made up of six major global food companies, including General Mills and Cargill. The organization aims to strengthen food security, improve nutrition, and foster economic development in Africa by enhancing the competitiveness of the food processing sector. PFS connects skilled corporate volunteers from its member companies with small and growing food processors and entrepreneurs in Africa. These volunteers provide technical and business expertise to help improve operations, product quality, and market reach. The organization also offers customized consulting, training, and support for developing nutritious food products. With a presence in multiple African countries, PFS has positively impacted over 600 food processors and supported the livelihoods of approximately 829,000 smallholder farmers. By empowering local food businesses, PFS plays a vital role in improving access to safe and affordable food while promoting sustainable economic growth in the region.
