Chungnam National University (CNU) is one of ten flagship national universities of South Korea. The university is seated in the city of Daejeon, the hub city of the country's central region, and is attended by more than twenty-five thousand students with diverse backgrounds including over a thousand international students. As one of the top national research-centric universities in Korea, the educational purpose of Chungnam National is to study and teach academic theories and their applied methods necessary for the contribution to the development of human society and to cultivate talented students with both professional expertise and strong morality under our motto: “Creativity, Self-advancement, and Service to the Community.”
