Gas TSO of Ukraine (GTSOU) is an independent gas transmission system operator established in 2019. The company became certified on January 1, 2020, and is fully owned by the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine as of October 27, 2023. GTSOU specializes in the transportation of natural gas to consumers in Ukraine and the European Union, ensuring reliable gas flows and sufficient capacity for its clients. The company operates a vast infrastructure that includes over 33,000 km of pipelines, 57 compressor stations, 33 gas metering stations, and 1,389 gas distribution stations. GTSOU aligns its operations with the EU's Third Energy Package, promoting a competitive and transparent gas market. With a workforce of around 11,000 skilled professionals, GTSOU is recognized as one of the top employers in Ukraine. Its vision is to be a modern gas transmission operator within the integrated European gas network, focusing on sustainable energy security for its consumers.
