The Pool & Hot Tub Alliance (PHTA) is the largest trade association for the swimming pool, spa, and hot tub industry, formed in April 2019 from the merger of the Association of Pool and Spa Professionals and the National Swimming Pool Foundation. With around 3,900 corporate members, PHTA represents a diverse range of industry participants, including manufacturers, builders, retailers, and service professionals. PHTA focuses on three core principles: educate, advocate, and elevate. It offers training and certification programs to ensure high safety and quality standards, advocates for beneficial policies and regulations, and develops technical standards for the industry. The organization also hosts networking events and provides valuable market research and resources to support its members. Through these efforts, PHTA promotes safe and enjoyable aquatic environments while enhancing the professionalism and reputation of the pool and hot tub sector.
