In the Börse Stuttgart Group, blocknox GmbH takes over the fiduciary custody of cryptocurrencies - since the end of January 2019 for the users of the BISON App and since the end of September 2019 for the users of the Digital Exchange of the Börse Stuttgart (BSDEX). For this purpose, blocknox developed and implemented a multi-level security concept. In the future, blocknox plans to offer the custody of cryptocurrencies and other digital assets as a service provider for institutional customers - such as fintechs, banks and asset managers. These can use blocknox's proven custody services as a building block for their own digital asset offerings. In view of the new legal regulation of the crypto custody business in Germany on 1 January 2020, blocknox has applied for the necessary permission from the supervisory authorities. Until the permission is granted, blocknox already has the status of a regulated financial services provider for the time being.
