Advance CTE is a national non-profit organization that represents State Career Technical Education (CTE) Directors and state leaders. It is committed to advancing high-quality and equitable policies and programs to ensure career and college success for all learners. As the longest-standing organization of its kind, Advance CTE plays a vital role in supporting state CTE leadership to enhance and sustain effective CTE programs across the United States. The organization advocates for policies and legislation that increase access to high-quality CTE programs and supports states in developing and implementing these policies. Advance CTE oversees the National Career Clusters Framework, which provides a structured approach to CTE program design. It also manages the "CTE: Learning that Works for America" branding campaign, which promotes the benefits of high-quality CTE. Additionally, Advance CTE offers professional development opportunities and resources to support state leaders in their efforts to improve CTE programs.
