Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company (ASCO) is the largest and oldest shipping company on the Caspian Sea. Today, ASCO comprises of Transportation Fleet of 51 vessels which provide cargo shipping services; Caspian Sea Oil Fleet of 204 ships and vessels which provide offshore services; 2 modern ship repair and construction yards; Azerbaijan State Marine Academy which is higher educational university; Maritime College and Training and Education Center which is equipped with modern simulators. Currently, more than 9,200 staff are employed by ACSC (including nearly 5,300 professional sailing personnel). Established more than 160 years ago ASCO also provides Logistics, Port and Agency services. Our mission: As a leading shipping company on the Caspian sea region, our mission is to support a harmonious and continuous flow of international freights between Asia and Europe, and expand the geography of our operations outside the Caspian Sea.
