Chalice Mining is a globally recognised specialist explorer and developer with a major greenfield platinum group element (PGE), nickel, copper, cobalt and gold discovery at its Julimar Project in Western Australia. Chalice's Julimar discovery was recently recognised by the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada, with the discovery team receiving the 2023 Thayer Lindsley Award for best international minerals discovery. Chalice has defined a tier-1 scale Mineral Resource at the ‘Gonneville' magmatic sulphide deposit, the first discovery at the Julimar Project. Recently updated in March 2023, the Gonneville Resource hosts 16Moz of palladium-platinum and gold, 860kt of nickel, 520kt of copper and 83kt of cobalt, making it one of the largest undeveloped Ni-Cu-PGE deposits globally1. The Resource provides a strong foundation for a world-class, ‘green-metals' project – metals that are critical to enabling decarbonisation. The 100% owned Julimar Project covers the newly recognised >30km long unexplored Julimar Intrusive Complex, with the Gonneville Resource interpreted to cover just ~2km of the extensive Complex. The Project is favorably located just ~70km NE of Perth, with world-class road, rail, port and high-voltage power infrastructure nearby. Development studies for the project are advancing and a conceptual processing flowsheet has been outlined to produce a Cu-PGE-Au concentrate as well as a Ni-Co mixed-hydroxide precipitate (MHP) for sale to battery pCAM customers. The Julimar discovery has defined the new West Yilgarn Ni-Cu-PGE Province in Western Australia, an almost entirely unexplored mineral province which is interpreted to extend for ~1,200km along the western margin of the Yilgarn Craton. Chalice holds an unrivalled >8,000sqkm land position in this exciting new area and is leveraging its competitive ‘first mover' advantage. The West Yilgarn is now regarded as one of the most exciting new nickel sulphide provinces globally.
