Abakkus Asset Manager LLP is an alpha focused asset manager investing in India. Founded in 2018 by Mr Sunil Singhania, we are inspired and have christened our name on the simplest ancient computing instrument – Abacus. Our ambition and vision is to make Abakkus, one of India's most revered and top performing asset managers. We manage funds on the category III Alternative Investment Fund platform, Portfolio Management Services and RIA platform with focus on listed Indian equities. Across strategies we manage around Rs 9,000 crs (~USD 1.2 bn). Founder Profile: Mr. Sunil Singhania has over two decades of experience in Indian equity. As ex-CIO at Reliance Mutual Fund, he oversaw around USD 11 billion of equity assets. He is currently appointed on the IFRS Capital Market Advisory Committee. (2020-2023). He was the Promoter of The Association of NSE Members of India; a body of stock brokers. He served on the Global board of CFA Institute, USA (2013-2019) and as Chairman of the Investment Committee (2017-2019) of the CFA Institute, USA. Currently he is appointed on the IFRS Capital Markets Advisory Committee (CMAC) and the only member from India to be appointed for the same (2020-2023)
