The Spanish Biomedical Research Centre in Cancer is a public state consortium established by the Carlos III Health Institute (Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness). Constituted by 50 elite research groups, it represents the biggest network of scientific cancer research in Spain. Its objectives are to lead highest standards of research practice and to accelerate the translation of scientific results into clinical application.
