Xinhua Silk Road, launched in July 2015, is positioned as an information platform, investment adviser, and think-tank convergence for all the participants of the Belt and Road construction. As a multilingual Belt and Road information service platform, Xinhua Silk Road aims to help the Chinese companies "go out" and companies outside China "come in". It offers products and services including China Economic Information, Belt & Road Weekly, website information, database, research & consulting, and offline service. Xinhua Silk Road's "Friends Circle" covers the globe. The Belt and Road Economic Information Partnership (BREIP) included in the list of deliverable of the Second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation was established in 2019 and now attracts more than 40 members of well-known international information institutions including national news agencies and financial think tanks to provide users at home and abroad with comprehensive information and service support.
