World Free Zones Organization ("World FZO")

The World Free Zones Organization (World FZO) is a non-profit entity operating as an association for all free zone stakeholders around the world. We are open to all member nations of the United Nations, comprises representatives of established free zones as well as local, regional and international free zone associations from across the world. The Association has the following main objectives: a) bring together: free zones; regional, national, subnational and local free zone associations; consultants and advisors to free zones; free zone users; interested governmental organizations; and international trade related organizations, for purposes of the sharing of knowledge, networking, business development and education; b) gather, create, expand and disseminate the knowledge of, and about, free zones internationally; c) advocate before international organizations and governments on behalf of free zones and the collective interests of their members, and foster public awareness of free zones; d) provide valuable services to Members, Partners and Observers through physical and electronic services and resources; e) support and advise new free zones internationally as they develop; f) develop best practice guidelines for the establishment and administration of free zones; g) be seen as the thought leader in free zones globally; and h) any other objects permitted by law and approved by the General Assembly.
