Accurion provides high-end and reliable state-of-the-art technology in two product lines: Imaging Ellipsometry and Active Vibration Isolation. In 2009, Halcyonics GmbH, specialist for active vibration isolation solutions and Nanofilm Technology GmbH, expert for surface analyzing tools merged into Accurion GmbH. Nanofilm Technology GmbH was originally a spin-off from the Max Planck Institute for biophysical chemistry in Goettingen. In 1991 the company started out designing the Brewster angle microscope for the characterization of ultrathin films. As these microscopes turned out to be sensitive to vibrations, the division of active vibration isolation followed in 1996. Ever since Accurion designs and manufactures advanced instrumentation for challenging measurement tasks, looking back on 30 years of valuable experience enabling technological and scientific progress for customers around the world. Besides our German headquarters, we operate within a global distribution network with subsidiaries in the US, India and China, as well as more than 20 distributors and resellers worldwide.
