Bioceltix is a Wrocław-based and internationally oriented biotechnological company developing innovative, both stem cells and secretome based products, for companion animals. Our flagship technology for manufacturing biopharmaceuticals for veterinary use utilizes the therapeutic potential of allogeneic stem cells (one donor – many recipients). Owning a GMP production facility, we provide single technology for several species, diseases, and routes of administration. Our cutting-edge approach will allow the product to be batch-produced and ready for off-the-shelf sale. The veterinary medicines, based on the immunomodulatory mechanism of action of MSC, will be an alternative to the symptomatic pharmacotherapy focused mainly on alleviating pain and inflammation. Our goal is to create analgesic and anti-inflammatory biopharmaceuticals that will induce the natural mechanisms of regenerating tissues affected by the disease. In our pipeline we have products intended for the treatment of atopic dermatitis and osteoarthritis in dogs and of osteoarthritis in horses – all in the advanced development stage. The registration procedure for BCX-CM-J and BCX-EM in the European Medicines Agency has been launched. We are led by the motto: “More than animal. More than technology.”
