DeepWay, jointly created by Baidu and Lionbridge, is China's first emerging truck force that adopted fully forward-designed and realized mass production. As a leading enterprise among "emerging truck force", DeepWay's first product, DeepWay Star, is China's first fully forward-designed intelligent new energy heavy-duty truck. The vehicle boasts technical advantages such as an integrated battery and chassis layout, distributed electric drive axles, ultra-low wind resistance, lightweight design, and intelligent cockpit connectivity, all of which are independently developed and researched. These features further reduce the vehicle's energy consumption to 130 kWh per 100 kilometers. Additionally, DeepWay has obtained sole authorization from Baidu's autonomous driving technology in the commercial vehicle sector, enabling mass-produced vehicles to possess high-level assisted driving capabilities. Since mass production, over 1,500 vehicles have been delivered, providing logistics and transportation services for numerous renowned enterprises, including CATL, Mengniu Dairy, and SF Express, demonstrating DeepWay's strong competitiveness.
