Myanmar Airways International (MAI), the National Flag Carrier of the Union of Myanmar took off in August 1993 MAI became the international airline of Myanmar with regular schedule flights. Our aircraft are currently operated by an internationally experienced team of skilled aviation personnel and we are in a code share agreement with Jetstar Asia Airline. More flights are being planned to new destinations within Asia. Our flights to and from Singapore are flown in conjunction with new Airbus A320 aircraft and these flights are specially operated on a full in flight service with complementary hot meals, drinks and other amenities. From the moment you enter our aircraft, until long after you leave, you will be enhanced by the genuine smiles, direct-friendliness and integrity of our cabin crew, ground crew and support staff. Yet these are just small examples of a unique cultural heritage that still provides guiding principles for the Myanmar people.
