
The Leningrad Region Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs is an independent non-governmental organization, one of the 120 regional alliances of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP). Our membership consists of companies, ranging from some of the largest and best-recognized corporations to medium and small-sized enterprises, representing a rich variety of industries, including fuel and energy industry, machine-building industry, investment-banking sector as well as building industry, chemical industry, light and food industries and etc. The Union has concluded agreements on cooperation with over 70 similar foreign business organizations. Our goals: - Initiate new bill drafts and make continuous efforts to improve the existing legislation; - Maintain regular contacts with authorities at the federal and regional level to keep them informed about the efficiency of applicable laws and to protect the interests of industrialists and entrepreneurs. - Hold round tables, forums, conferences and public discussions on key issues of business development in Russia; - Develop regular bilateral and multilateral relations with business community organizations and companies in other countries; - Provide assistance to Russian businessmen in developing their export capabilities and attract foreign investments for domestic production development. - Keep informed about doing business in Russia.
